Section 11. - Supported Decision Making

One of the basic pillars of providing social service is client´s participation in planning and decision-making on way how the service service will be provided to client. However, the basic prerequiments for achieving the necessary participation of the client is his ability to make independent decisions in the entire life context. Naturally it becomes one of the tasks of social work to work with this ability and lead to its support and possible development. A method for enhancing clients' ability to make independent decisions about their lives (including taking responsibility for decisions made), the workshop plans to target.
